The Martin Macphail (Blitz//Berlin) Interview “Deathstalker”

Musician and composer Martin Macphail from Blitz//Berlin joins Podcasting After Dark & Two Dollar Late Fee to discuss scoring the films of Steven Kostanski (Deathstalker, Psycho Goreman, Frankie Freako), favorite John Carpenter movies, and more.

One of the many things to love about Steven Kostanski’s films are the music scores that accompany them. Martin Macphail and Blitz//Berlin are responsible for elevating Steve’s movies as well as recent gems like Silent Night, Deadly Night and Queens of the Dead. In this interview Martin discusses his influences, the chance meeting that lead to working with Steve, pulse rifles (Aliens), and more! Enjoy!
